If you are around Lower Parel and want to enjoy Goa in Mumbai, you should straight away head to Lady Baga in Kamala Mills. The ambiance gives you a familiar feeling of sitting in Goa at a beach side club or a lounge and relishing on a drink.The decor takes you directly to the shacks of Goa . It's the feeling of Goa amidst the bustling city of Mumbai.
Ambiance review
The moment you enter , it gives you a beach like atmosphere.Lady Baga has successfully pulled out every piece of Goa in Kamala Mills except the serene blue water.The ambiance is awesome and the AC is also adequate.This place has a very good music .They have this strong aroma of Sea Food all over.Lady Baga also has a small beach-like place outside. In short, if you miss Goa then surely visit Lady Baga. The decor also has dream catchers and different types of lightings hanging around.
Food review
The food is a quite average and the service is mediocre.The staff needs thorough training on cocktails. I ordered a Virgin Mojito, after a huge conversation with the bartender (as he could not understand, what I was saying ). The Virgin Mojito was not at par. I had jeera rice and prawn curry. The jeera rice was of good quality. But the Prawn curry was not up to the mark.Especially, because it had very less amount of Prawns and more amount of lady fingers. One thing, good about this place is that they have good options for vegetarians as well.
For the deserts ,I ordered Serradura which was the best part of my lunch at Lady Baga. It was just amazing.
Overall
Overall , Lady Baga has a very chilled out atmosphere and a colourful decor The dance floor is fantastic, so this place can be perfect for a party or an event. I will give it 3.5 stars rating out of 5.
