“ Once a Year go SOMEPLACE, you have never Been Before” Hey Friends, I know this post is long overdue, but I’m finally back home in Mumbai and so sharing my Matheran trip recap . First and foremost, I had been dying for a vacation – and my first choice is always somewhere near Mumbai. Upon some research, I came across these two Resorts in Matheran and loved the dreamy landscape and beautiful swimming pools.. This has been one of my favorite solo girls vacation and here’s why. 1. Pollution free place near Mumbai Not that you need any convincing, but the pleasant weather, beautiful mountain view are all great reasons to visit Matheran. You don’t even have to travel that far from Mumbai (less than 3 hours). Matheran was such a great option because you reach very fast thanks to the toy train from Neral station, which is so nice! As cars or any sorts of vehicles are not allowed, the weather is lovely, pollution free and calm – so ideal to gain some oxygen.
